Residual Energy Catching System from Armature

Energy saving and sustainability have become hot topics nowadays in every sector. Electric transportation applications, such as electric vehicles, always pursue higher energy efficiency other than applications with secured permanent power sources. Therefore, lots of research and development works have been carried out to pursue the energy efficiency in a broad aspect, such as redesign the motor itself and/or, use electronic techniques. This invention deploys electronic techniques to pursue higher efficiency. To prove the idea and solutions, 2 prototypes using 2-phase and 3-phase PMBLDC motors have been built for the purpose. This invention has been affirmed by the international patent organization (WIPO), and entered into several national stage in several countries.  Australia, China and The USA have granted the patent status. They prove the methods to catch the residual energy from an armature and send it back to the rechargeable power sources without affecting the motor’s running driven by PMW manner. The implementation is simple and cheap. By recycling the residual energy, it extends the run time of battery systems, achieving higher energy efficiency. The higher electric current, the more residual energy caught, therefore, it is more beneficiary for industrial applications. The benefit is huge in economical and environmental fields. 

This inventive circuit can be easily integrated into existing motor driving system or implemented in the way as you wish. As applications, this invention can be applied into in all EVs  used in land, water and air. Apart from commercial applications, those life care, leisure and hobby EVs,  such as wheelchair, scooter, bike, drone, water vessel, golf-cart,  all battery powered mobile applications, the techniques can be applied as well.  It would be the interests for all EV manufacturers/entrepreneurs to explore and invest this newly discovery and promote their products to be in the forefront of environmental friendly and energy saving compliance standards.
